How many gcses do you get for maths?

In most exam boards, you can get two GCSEs in maths:

* GCSE Mathematics: This is the standard GCSE maths qualification.

* GCSE Further Mathematics: This is a more advanced qualification, usually taken by students who excel in maths. It's not compulsory.
