The Kindergarten Kit 1 introduces the basics of mathematics to kindergarten students. The activities included in the kit teach counting, addition and readiness concepts to students. The Kit 1 Sample provides a few free activities that teachers can use with their students. Simple addition problems like "4+0," "4+4," and "1+4" are a part of one of the activities. Other math activities requires students to trace and write numbers, touch and navigate through a maze, and count by touching "TouchPoints" on the numbers.
The Kindergarten Kit 2 is an advanced set of math-related activities. The kit reinforces math concepts such as backward counting, readiness and subtraction. The Kit 2 Sample provides over 10 activities for students to complete. Simple subtraction problems such as "5-3," "10-4," "3-2" and "6-3" are a part of one of the kit's activities. Other activities in the Kit 2 sample ask students to count and write numbers backward, draw objects, and touch specific numeric values.
The Kindergarten Kit 3 Sample introduces advanced mathematics concepts for kindergarten students in easy to comprehend activities. The kit includes concepts such as geometry, algebra, fractions, money, time, measurements and graphing. Although these concepts may seem too advanced for kindergarten students, the actual activities are easy to complete. For example, The Kit 3 Sample asks students in one activity to touch shapes that have two equal halves. Other activities have students adding the sum of several coins, drawing the hands on a clock to show the requested time, and coloring all the circles in an image a certain color.
The Kindergarten Kit 4 Sample includes advanced activities that utilize concepts from the previous three kits. In Kit 4, kindergarten students will complete activities that require mastery of addition, subtraction, shapes (geometry), fractions and time. For example, some activities will ask students to match clocks to the correct time, match shapes to the correct description, and write addition and subtraction sentences using the numbers 9, 8 and 17.
