The transparent report cover resembles a folder. The front of the cover is clear and the title page of the report shows through. Bindings for the report can be metal brads or a clip mechanism, called a sliding bar, that holds the papers together.
The hinge type of report cover is made out of pressboard and contains a prong clip in the center to hold papers. The hinge report cover looks like a sturdy version of a folder.
Report covers are available in a variety of textures. Faux leather grain, linen and twill report covers add an element of elegance to the report or presentation. Embossed report covers are also available.
Many printing companies offer custom printed report covers. The covers are available in one or two pieces. Printing companies typically require a minimum order of 250 pieces or more.
