Can a teacher grab student by the back of neck?

In most cases, it would be considered inappropriate and potentially harmful for a teacher to grab a student by the back of the neck. Physical contact between teachers and students should be limited to what is necessary to maintain safety and order in the classroom. Grabbing a student by the back of the neck could be seen as excessive and could potentially cause physical injury or emotional distress to the student.
