How many basic levels are in the us education system?

The US education system generally has three basic levels:

1. Primary/Elementary School: Typically grades K-5 or K-6.

2. Secondary School: This is usually divided into middle/junior high school (grades 6-8 or 7-8) and high school (grades 9-12).

3. Post-Secondary Education: This includes colleges, universities, and vocational schools.

While there are sub-levels within these three, these are the main overarching categories.
