How to Indicate the Function of Words

Words assist us in communication between one another. Without words we would have no way to describe our experience of the world and be able to share it with others. Words enable us to have a shared experience of life. They are the catalyst that collects us together. We are able to relate to each other and work together with a shared understanding. This is all due to the invention of words and language. Each type of word has a different agreed-upon function, enabling us to communicate effectively in this world.
