Print pictures from the Internet of pronghorn antelope. Choose pictures that are no more than 3 to 4 inches in length. Look for pictures of other grasslands animals, such as buffalo and prairie dogs.
Cut the bottom from a paper plate, leaving a rim. Tape a piece of plastic wrap over the opening on the front side. This is the window of your diorama.
Trace around your cutout pronghorns on printer paper. Cut out these outlines. Cut a 4 inch length of string for each picture. Glue the picture to the cutout with string between them. Tape the other end of the string to the cutout paper plate rim so that it hangs behind the plastic wrap.
Decorate the front side of the other plate to look like grasslands. One idea is to find a photograph of a grasslands in a magazine and paste this to the second the plate. Another is to paste dried grass to the plate. Glue the other animal cutouts to the second plate as well.
Line the two plates up and glue the front sides of their rims together. The paper pronghorns will hang in behind the plastic wrap, in front of the grassland, as if they were leaping and prancing through it.
