What is the lowest grade point average that will get you a job?

There's no single GPA that guarantees a job, or even gets you an interview. The importance of GPA varies wildly depending on:

* The job: Entry-level positions in some fields might care more about GPA than senior roles in others. A high-tech startup might value skills and experience more than a large financial institution. A job in a skilled trade might not consider GPA at all.

* The company: Some companies heavily weigh GPA, especially for entry-level positions. Others prioritize relevant experience, extracurricular activities, or other factors.

* Your other qualifications: A strong resume with impressive projects, internships, relevant skills, and strong recommendations can often compensate for a lower GPA.

While some entry-level roles might have minimum GPA requirements (often around 2.5 or 3.0), these are not universally applied and are often just a screening tool. Meeting a minimum GPA doesn't guarantee a job; exceeding it doesn't guarantee one either. Focus on building a well-rounded profile that demonstrates your capabilities and aligns with the specific job you're applying for.
