When was Karamu High School created?

Karamu High School wasn't created in the traditional sense of a new school being founded. It evolved from the Karamu House settlement house's activities. Therefore, there isn't a single founding date. The Karamu House itself was founded in 1915, and its educational programs, which eventually led to the development of the high school, began shortly thereafter.
