What is the senior high school in Ghana?

In Ghana, senior high school (SHS) is the final stage of secondary education. It typically begins at age 15 or 16 and lasts for three years. SHS is divided into two tracks: General Arts and General Science. General Arts students study a wide range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, History, Geography, and French. General Science students study a similar range of subjects, with a focus on math and science.

Upon completion of SHS, students take the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The WASSCE is a standardized exam that is used for university entrance in Ghana and other West African countries.
