What is natural order sentence?

A natural order sentence is a sentence in which the words are arranged in the order in which they occur naturally in thought or speech. For example, the sentence "The boy kicked the ball" is a natural order sentence because the boy is mentioned before the ball and the kicking occurs before the ball is mentioned. This is in contrast to an inverted order sentence, in which the words are arranged in a different order than they occur naturally in thought or speech. For example, the sentence "The ball was kicked by the boy" is an inverted order sentence because the ball is mentioned before the boy and the kicking occurs after the ball is mentioned.
