- Predicate nominative

- Direct Object of a verb in the passive voice

- After "als", "wie", and "als ob" when they mean" as"

- After prepositions: aus (out of), außer (except), bei (at, near), entlang (along), gegenüber (opposite), gemäß (according to), mit (with), nach (after, to), seit (since), von (from), zu (to, at, in), zwischen (between)
