Why does alliteration make tension in a book?

Alliteration does not create tension in a book. Alliteration is the deliberate repetition of the same consonant sound at the beginning of a series of words stressed words in a line. It can be used to create a sense of rhythm, to emphasize certain words, or to create a feeling of suspense, but it does not create tension.
