Why urdu is called syllable timed language?

Urdu is not considered a syllable-timed language. It is a stress-timed language, which means that stressed syllables are pronounced longer than unstressed syllables. This is in contrast to syllable-timed languages, in which all syllables are pronounced with equal duration.
