How do you say may use the bathroom in Hebrew?

The most common and polite way to say "May I use the bathroom?" in Hebrew is:

סליחה, אפשר להשתמש בשירותים? (Sliha, efshar lishtamesh besheruteim?)

* סליחה (Sliha): Excuse me.

* אפשר (Efshar): Is it possible/permitted?

* להשתמש (Lishtamesh): To use.

* בשרותים (Besheruteim): In the bathroom/restrooms.

You can also use a slightly less formal version:

אפשר להשתמש בשירותים? (Efshar lishtamesh besheruteim?)

This omits the "excuse me," making it suitable for informal settings where you already have a bit of rapport with the person you're asking. However, using "Sliha" is always polite.
