What languages did Anne Frank know?

Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and grew up speaking German as her native language. After her family moved to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, she also became fluent in Dutch and learned to write in Dutch. Anne's diary was originally written in Dutch and was later translated into many languages, including English.
