What are the five parts of paragraph?

Five Parts of a Paragraph:

1. Topic Sentence:

- Identifies the main idea of the paragraph.

- Usually the first sentence.

2. Supporting Sentences:

- Provides details, evidence, or examples that support the topic sentence.

- Make up the body of the paragraph.

3. Linking Words and Phrases:

- Connect the supporting sentences and show the relationship between ideas.

- Examples: however, in addition, likewise, furthermore, on the other hand.

4. Concluding Sentence:

- Summarizes or restates the main point of the paragraph.

- Can also provide a transition to the next paragraph.

5. Sentence Structure and Style:

- Varies sentence length and structure for clarity and interest.

- Uses clear, concise language to express ideas.
