In Hebrew is it ok to call a male baby motek or if not what else should one say?

In Hebrew, the word "moteket" (מוֹתקֶת) is used for a "darling" or "sweetheart" (female), not for a male baby. For a male baby, the word "maleket" (מַלְקֵת) can be used, or "yald mamesh" (יֶלֶד מָמָש).
