What is sentence order?

Sentence order refers to the arrangement of words in a sentence that convey meaning in that particular language. Different languages have different sentence orders, meaning that the position of the subject, verb, and objects varies among languages. English, for instance, follows the Subject-Verb-Object (SVO) sentence order, while Japanese uses the Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) order.
