Caf Lamed Yod is the acronym for "Chalu LeYisrael" which means "pioneers to Israel". It is a Jewish Zionist organization that was founded in 1942 in Palestine by a group of young people who were inspired by the ideals of Zionism and wanted to help build the Jewish state.
