How many kids get kicked out of school and can do what ever they want?

There's no reliable data on the exact number of children who are expelled from school and then engage in unsupervised, unlawful activities. Expulsion is a serious disciplinary action, but the consequences for a student after expulsion vary greatly depending on factors like their age, location, family support system, and the specific circumstances surrounding their expulsion.

While some expelled students might find themselves in situations with minimal adult supervision, this is not the norm. Many school districts have support systems in place to help expelled students, even if those systems are imperfect. Others might be placed in alternative education settings or face involvement with the juvenile justice system. It's also important to note that simply being expelled doesn't automatically give a child free rein to do whatever they want; laws regarding truancy, child welfare, and criminal behavior still apply.
