When did Boteler Grammar School end?

Boteler Grammar School in Warrington, England, didn't exactly "end" in a single event, but rather closed in 1976 as part of the reorganization of secondary education under the then-new comprehensive system. It was then absorbed into the newly formed Warrington schools.
