To earn a score of 5, students must correctly answer at least 44 multiple-choice questions and earn at least 45 points on the free-response section. To earn a score of 4, students must correctly answer at least 37 multiple-choice questions and earn at least 36 points on the free-response section. To earn a score of 3, students must correctly answer at least 29 multiple-choice questions and earn at least 27 points on the free-response section. To earn a score of 2, students must correctly answer at least 21 multiple-choice questions and earn at least 18 points on the free-response section. To earn a score of 1, students must correctly answer at least 13 multiple-choice questions and earn at least 9 points on the free-response section.
AP Calculus AB Score Percentiles
The following table shows the score percentiles for the AP Calculus AB test:
