Who is present chairman of AP BC commission?

The current Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Commission is Justice (retd.) CV Nagarjuna Reddy. He was appointed as the Chairman on 2 May 2022, succeeding Justice (retd.) Kancha Ilaiah Shepherd, who had served as the Chairman since 2019.

KVN Reddy is a retired judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. He was born in 1948 in Anantapur district and obtained his law degree from the Sri Krishnadevaraya University. He started his legal career as an advocate in the Andhra Pradesh High Court in 1974. In 1999, he was elevated as a Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court and served in that capacity until his retirement in 2012.

After retirement, Justice KVN Reddy served as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission from 2012 to 2016. He also served as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission from 2016 to 2020.

Justice KVN Reddy is known for his expertise in constitutional law, human rights, and administrative law. He has also authored several books and articles on legal and social issues.
