Instruct each student to select an endangered animal that she wants to spotlight.
Have each student cut out pictures of the selected animal from magazines. If a student has trouble finding pictures, he can draw a picture of the animal on construction paper.
Cut out a rectangle of poster board measuring 12 inches wide by 18 inches long for each student.
Have the students glue the pictures of her selected animal to the front of the poster board, leaving about 4 inches square uncovered.
Instruct the students to write facts about their animals inside the square, such as location, population size, diet and climate.
Hang up the posters on the classroom wall to display.
