Write down a list of the facts of the case. Add side notes of details if needed.
Write down a list of arguments that would come up to doubt what you are saying is true. Add any notes of ways you are going to address the doubts and emotions.
Create an outline of the order you want to present the facts and incorporate the arguments within the discussion. Be sure each will create a flowing pattern from one to the other.
Write an introduction. This should summarize the point you are going to make and touch on the subjects you will introduce in the following paragraphs. For persuasive papers, you always should use the active voice.
Write out each paragraph, following your outline. Be sure to give specific examples and information when going over your facts, so it leaves the person without a doubt as to what happened and why you are not guilty.
Write a conclusion going over each point you covered and ending with how these facts prove you are not guilty.
