1. Dip the paper into a coffee or tea solution:
- Brew a strong cup of coffee or tea.
- Let it cool down to room temperature.
- Dip the paper into the solution for a few seconds.
- Remove the paper and let it dry completely.
2. Bake the paper in the oven:
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Place the paper on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 5-10 minutes or until the paper starts to turn yellow.
- Let the paper cool down completely.
3. Edge it with ink, tea or coffee:
- Get a teabag, cup of tea, or coffee. Wet a makeup sponge with the ink and rub the sponge along the edges of the paper.
- You can also use a regular tea bag and just rub the tea bag along the edges of the paper.
- This gives a nice rustic, antique look to the edges.
4. Seal the stains:
- After you're happy with the look, spray a sealant over your paper to preserve it and prevent the stains from smudging.
After completing these steps, you can write on the paper with a pen or pencil to create an aged look to the writing or print as well.
