Every year, the New York Summer Music Festival (NYSMF) offers a two-week summer music camp for saxophone at Oneonta, New York, in the Catskills Mountains. This special program is open for all ages from 11 to 25. There are spaces for only 20 applicants. Those qualified will be trained to play their saxophone at the highest level through private lessons, master classes, saxophone quartet, saxophone ensemble, chamber music studies, and lecture classes on saxophone history and literature. This will allow the students to have an in-depth exploration of the classical saxophone. This two-week session costs $1,700.
