How to Encode Arabic Characters

Computers worldwide use Unicode as a standardized system for data transfer. All Unicode system characters utilize a specific identifying number, and nearly all symbols and characters that are part of a written language are included in the Unicode system--including Arabic. In addition to Arabic language keyboards and software, there are several means of translating Arabic to Unicode, including Arab UniC, Rishida Arabic Block Character Picker, and Arabic Writer. Rishida Arabic Block Character Picker and Arab UniC are online translation services; Arabic Writer is translation software that can be downloaded to your computer.
