How to Learn to Speak Arabic Using CDs

Arabic, the language of North Africa and the Middle East, is spoken world-wide by 220 million people. "Salami" (hello) may well be the first word you learn on your in Arabic CDs. Like English, Arabic has a lot of dialects and accents, so people from Morocco may not understand someone from Saudi Arabia, much as someone from Texas not being able to decipher a broad Scottish accent. When buying or downloading CDs, scout for ones made by Egyptian speakers. Most of the television shows in the Arabic speaking world are made in Egypt. With this accent everyone will understand you, even if you can't figure out what they are saying.
