The tiger shark is a huge predator reaching up to 15 feet in length. They are usually found in the tropical and subtropical oceans all over the world. Tiger sharks are responsible for the majority of attacks in Hawaii. There are three to four attacks on humans per year in Hawaii. The bull shark isn't as recognizable as the great white or tiger shark. However, experts argue that they are potentially the most dangerous. They prefer to swim in costal waters at 30 meters deep, which means they enjoy the shallow water, increasing a human's chances to have a run in with them. They also enjoy freshwater, and they swim in murky water where you might not see them. Bull sharks are not as a large as the other sharks, growing to about 7 feet in length but it is still willing to attack large prey. ISAF documents that the bull shark is responsible for 121 attacks on humans with 25 of them being fatal
The sand tiger shark prefers warm seas, but can be found in the eastern pacific. They are large sharks and they grow up to 10 feet in length. These particular sharks are the least threatening to humans. The three other shark species are known for unprovoked attacks on humans. Whereas the majority of attacks on humans by sand tiger sharks are provoked. Despite this, the sand tiger shark is ranked fourth on the ISAF. ISAF documents that the sand tiger shark is responsible for 77 attacks on humans with 1 of them being fatal.
