They will have their own facilities and will hire their own tutors to work with your child. These may be expensive, but they develop their own techniques for furthering your child’s education.
Call the closest university or junior college. Many have lists of tutors that they will provide. If not, you can look on bulletin boards on campus for students advertising their services.
Work with your local library for information about tutoring programs they have available. Some students and professionals advertise on the bulletin boards. Some libraries have teams of volunteers that help tutor. The exact services will vary by library system.
Speak with your local Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization to see if they currently have tutors available. Boys and Girls Clubs also often have tutoring programs, and so do some YMCA and other youth organizations, through their community literacy program and through other programs.
