Purchase the British English version of the Rosetta Stone program. Any office supply or software store near you will have the Rosetta Stone programs, but the British English version may not be available. If you have difficulty finding a copy of the British English version, you can buy one online at the Rosetta Stone Web site (See References Below.) Install the software onto your computer per the instructions that are found in the User's Manual. Plug in the headset that can be found inside the Rosetta Stone box, and you will be ready to use the program.
Practice the Rosetta Stone British English version every day in order to become fluent in the language. It is recommended on the Rosetta Stone Web site to practice at least 30 minutes every day. The Rosetta Stone program uses a mixture of visual, auditory and memory mnemonics in order to help people learn languages quickly and easily. By practicing as much as possible, you can become fluent in Oxford English in a short period of time.
Create an "English Day" around your house once per week in which every person that enters the house must speak only in British English. This can be an exciting addition to your Rosetta Stone study. Immersion learning, or learning in which you are fully immersed in the language, can complement your lessons and can help you get used to using British English in conversation.
