Harbor Freight Tools sells its own brand of car lifts as well as car lifts made by competing car lift manufacturers. Harbor Freight Tools carries a Harbor Freight, two-post car lift with 10,000-pound capacity. It also carries a 9,000-pound, four-post car lift manufactured by BendPak.
Car lifts offered by Harbor Freight Tools are designed to different dimensions. BendPak's 9,000-pound, four-post lift is 200 inches long, approximately 121 inches wide and 88 inches tall at its highest point. Maximum lifting height on this lift is 74.5 inches. Harbor Freight's 10,000-pound, two-post lift is 131.5 inches wide and 151 inches high. Maximum lifting height on this car lift is a little more than 79 inches.
Both of these car lifts are made of steel and feature a hydraulic system for lifting. Both use heavy-duty, steel aircraft cable. The 9,000-pound model can lift a load from the ground to its maximum height in approximately 45 seconds. The Harbor Freight two-post lift ships at a much lower weight than the Bend-Pak four-post lift. The two-post lift ships at a weight of 1,990 pounds, and the four-post lift ships at a 2,700 pounds.
