Investigate the prices of the solar panels from the solar panel retailers available in your area. This will enable you get a good value for money.
Read the instruction manual that comes with the solar panels to guide you on the installation process. The instruction manual will contain the items you will require for the whole process.
Determine where you will place the solar panel. The solar panel should be installed in a place where there is no obstruction from direct sunlight. A roof top and a garden are examples of places where you can install the solar panel; roof tops are generally preferred because it keeps it out of reach of children and doesn't take up space in your yard.
Mark the area on the roof where you are going to install the panel using a chalk. Find the rafters of the roof using a stud finder and place the mounts directly above the rafters.
Make four holes on each side, running through the mounts and into the rafters using a drill. Run the bolts into the drilled holes to hold the mounts in position.
Install the four metal rails on top of the mounts using stainless steel bolts.
Place the two solar panels on the metal rails adjacent to one another. Use connecting wires to connect the panels together at the junction boxes.
Close the two junction boxes then fix connecting wires from the terminals of the solar panels onto the terminals of the converter of your house.
