Run "Business Intelligence Development Studio" from the "Microsoft SQL Server" folder in the Start menu. Click on "Project" under the "File" menu.
Select the "Business Intelligence Projects" option from "Project Types," then choose "Report Server Project" under "Templates." Enter a name for your report.
Click on the "View" menu. Select "Report Data," then click "New." Choose the "Data Source" option. Enter the connection information to establish a connection with your database.
Create a dataset by clicking "New" and "Dataset." Use the "Query Designer" interface to select the fields and tables to use in your report. Click "OK."
Open the "Toolbox" menu. Select "Table," then click on the design window. Select the fields you want to display on your report from the "Report Data" window. Adjust the layout and static text, such as column titles, in the design window. Click "Preview" to see how the report appears.
Publish the report using the "Export" option under the "File" menu when the preview appears as you want it.
