What type of sororities does famu have?

FAMU (Florida A&M University) has a number of historically Black sororities, all members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), also known as the Divine Nine. These include:

* Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA)

* Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated (DST)

* Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated (ZPB)

* Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated (SGR)

* Akebia Sorority, Incorporated (a non-NPHC sorority with a similar mission but a separate governing body)

FAMU does *not* have sororities that are part of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), which governs the majority of traditionally white sororities.
