What is the greek sigma?

The Greek letter sigma (Σ) has two main uses:

1. Capital Σ (Sigma): Represents summation in mathematics. It indicates the sum of a series of terms. For example:

Σᵢ₌₁ⁿ f(i) means "the sum of f(i) for i from 1 to n".

2. Lowercase σ (sigma): Represents standard deviation in statistics. It measures the spread or dispersion of a dataset.
