What is the Greek meaning of word Pennsylvania?

The word Pennsylvania does not have a Greek origin or meaning. It is derived from the Latin Penns and Sylvania, meaning Penn's Woodland. The name was given to the colony by King Charles II of England in 1681 in honor of Admiral William Penn, the father of its founder, William Penn.
