When did berkly college open?

Berklee College of Music was founded in 1945 by Lawrence Berk. It was originally called the Schillinger House of Music and was located in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1954, the school was renamed the Berklee School of Music and moved to its current location in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood.
