Bullwinkle J. Moose is a fictional cartoon character created by Jay Ward and Alex Anderson for the American animated television series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. The character first appeared in the 1959 pilot episode "The Bullwinkle Show". Bullwinkle is a dim-witted moose who is often the sidekick of the more intelligent squirrel, Rocky the Flying Squirrel. Bullwinkle is known for his catchphrase, "Oh, Rocky!"
