What is the function and duties of fraternity President in fraternity?

Functions of the Fraternity president

- Represent the fraternity to the entire community

- Enforce all national, provincial state and local laws

- Enforce all local government ordinances and zoning regulations

- Enforce chapter bylaws, regulations, rules and standing orders

- Manage and oversee the chapter budget and finances

- Ensure the safety of all chapter members and guests during all fraternity events

Duties of the fraternity President

- Preside at all chapter meetings

- Call for special meetings as needed

- Appoint all internal committee/ positions/ officers as needed for the chapter

- Oversee the preparation of all chapter reports

- Act as liaison with the Interfraternal council, campus administration, alumni association, advisors and other campus student groups

- Approve for payment all authorized chapter bills and financial expenses

- Ensure all chapter members are in good academic standing and are completing their academic work

- Ensure all chapter members are in compliance with all fraternity/ sorority regulations

- Serve on the Interfraternal council, if required by campus/ national/ provincial/ state

- Represent the chapter at all fraternity functions

- Attend all chapter advisor and leadership meetings

- Assist the rush captain with organizing and executing a successful rush

- Work closely with the executive officers to ensure the chapter is running successfully
