How to Find the Best Dorms at the University of Tennessee

      Look into Hess Hall if you are interested in living in a traditional-style dormitory. There are three traditional-style dorms on the campus of the University of Tennessee and Hess Hall is the only one that is co-educational. The rooms are traditional, air-conditioned doubles with large community bath areas on each floor. The rooms in Hess Hall measure 15' 2" x 7'7". Hess Hall features a book and supply store, a TV room, kitchens on the third and fifth floor, study lounges on each floor, two laundry rooms, a post office, sunroofs, and the Hess Grocery and KFC Express

      Consider Clement Hall if you want to live in a suite-style dormitory at the University of Tennessee. It is co-educational and features rooms with loft beds and a desk underneath the beds. Rooms in Clement Hall measure 11' 2" x 18' 6". Features of Hess Hall are meeting rooms, laundry rooms, sunroof, kitchen, computer room, lounge with big-screen television, post office, music room, and weight room. The Clement courtyard has basketball courts.

      Check out Volunteer Hall if you are interested in living in an apartment-style residence at the University of Tennessee. Volunteer Hall offers two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments and 10 different floor plans for each student resident. Volunteer Hall features recreational facilities that include a state-of-the-art fitness center, activity center with pool tables and Foosball tables, patio with outdoor grills and picnic tables, and a computer lab.
