Are there conditions for underclassmen to live on campus a certain number of years Harvard?

Harvard College does not guarantee on-campus housing for all undergraduates, regardless of class standing. While freshmen are guaranteed housing, upperclassmen (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) must apply for housing through a lottery system, and there's no guaranteed number of years they can live on campus. Availability is limited, and acceptance depends on the number of applicants and available spaces. There are no specific conditions beyond applying during the appropriate time and meeting any specific housing requirements that might be specified by the College (e.g., room type preferences).
