The Corps is open to all undergraduate students, regardless of their academic major. Cadets participate in a rigorous program of academic, military, and physical training, and they are expected to uphold the highest standards of honor and integrity.
The Corps is divided into five regiments, each of which is commanded by a cadet colonel. The regiments are further divided into companies, each of which is commanded by a cadet captain.
Cadets live in dormitories on campus, known as "dorms." The dorms are organized into squadrons, each of which is commanded by a cadet lieutenant colonel.
The Corps of Cadets is an important part of Texas A and M University. It provides students with leadership skills, self-discipline, and teamwork experience that they can use in their careers and in their lives.
