The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA, is the form college's receive from the federal government that states a student's need for financial aide. The FAFSA does not give money directly to the student. The form is either filled out online or on a paper form that is sent to the FAFSA office. The failing of classes does not affect the FAFSA process. The school decides whether or not a student is eligible for financial aid based on grades. Fill out a FAFSA form yearly to qualify for student financial aid.
