Search the Library of Congress' online catalog for published short stories. If you are unsure about a specific title or author, the Library of Congress website will help you to find the correct information.
Type in the name of the story or author's name in the search box.
Click on the name or title of the short story. If your search comes up with nothing, try searching by just the author's last name.
Type in classicshorts.com for the Classic Short Story website. This site offers classic stories for you to read right on the site.
Locate the Story Finders tab in the bottom left hand corner of the website. Stories are sorted by author or title. Select your search method.
Search by author to view a list of authors the website has. Search by title to view the catalog by title. You can also type in the specific author or title if you know it.

Read the Short Story Research Guide and search your college catalog using the same techniques.
Search the DuPgae catalog and take note of the resources you would like to review. You can locate these items in your hometown main library or your college library.
