How to Download Textbooks

With the price of college increasing with every new school year, it is important to save both time and money whenever possible. One of the largest expenses outside of tuition is the price of textbooks. School books can easily cost several hundred dollars, in addition to the time you spend trying to dig out and find the correct book at your local book store. However, there are several websites that specialize in allowing individuals to download books from online sites, with some books being offered free of charge.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to a website such as Textbooktorrents.com, Textbookrevolution.org or
      iChapters.com.

    • 2

Select "eTextbooks" if the site offers both hard copy and download textbooks.

    • 3

Type in the title and author, or the ISBN into the available search bar. The ISBN is going to give the most accurate search results. This is because most textbooks have multiple editions, so a title or author search may come up with the wrong book. However, the ISBN is specific for the exact book. Most college professors provide an ISBN along with the title and author information.
