Who founded Princeton university?

Princeton University was founded in 1746 as the College of New Jersey by a charter granted by John Hamilton, the Governor of New Jersey. While not a single founder in the same way as, say, Johns Hopkins University, the group of Presbyterian ministers and laymen who spearheaded its establishment are considered its founders. Jonathan Dickinson is often cited as a key figure in its early development.
