How many college students graduate in two and a half years with BS?

It is extremely rare for college students to graduate in two and a half years with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Most BS programs require four years of full-time study to complete. There may be exceptional cases where students with significant prior coursework or advanced standing are able to accelerate their studies and graduate early, but two and a half years is a very short timeframe for most BS programs.
